National Growth Fund

Staying healthy for longer together, innovating together!

As KIA Key Enabling Technologies, we unite initiatives for innovation from cooperation between the technology and manufacturing industries, research organisations, education and authorities. We create proposals and broadly supported programmes, support research organisations and companies in jointly developing their plans and work on synergy and support. In some cases, these initiatives logically grow into applications for the National Growth Fund.

National Growth Fund

With the National Growth Fund, the government earmarks €20 billion for projects between 2021 and 2025. These are targeted investments in 2 areas where there are the most opportunities for structural and sustainable economic growth.

In projects receiving funding from the National Growth Fund, key enabling technologies often play a crucial role. Because of the scale of these projects, the importance for the development of key enabling technologies is high. The KIA ST brings together the objectives of these projects and tracks their progress and results. Below is an overview of the National Growth Fund (NGF) proposals and programmes submitted by the KIA Key Enabling Technologies partners involved.

NGF-round 1

Five proposals from Research, Development and Innovation:
